Hi, I’m Anna Reed, the home cook and recipe creator behind Home Cook Legacy. My journey into cooking started out of necessity—juggling work, family, and health struggles meant I had to find a way to put nutritious, satisfying meals on the table without spending hours in the kitchen. Over time, it turned into a true passion.

In my early thirties, I faced health issues that made me rethink the way I was eating. I realized that food wasn’t just fuel—it could be healing, energizing, and joyful if approached the right way. That’s when I started experimenting with high-protein meals, quick-prep recipes, and wholesome desserts that even my kids and friends would enjoy.

What began as scribbled notes in a kitchen notebook has now grown into this blog—a space where I share simple, family-friendly recipes designed for real life. Here, you’ll find:
