  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp fresh rosemary, minced
  • 1 tbsp thyme leaves
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup broccoli florets

Method

  1. In a bowl, toss the beef slices with rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper until well coated; set aside.

  3. In the same skillet, add remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Stir fry broccoli, bell peppers, and sugar snap peas for 5 minutes until just tender.
  4. Return the beef to the skillet. Add soy sauce and honey, stirring thoroughly to coat all ingredients. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through and the sauce slightly thickens.

Tips for a Perfect Stir Fry

Use fresh herbs whenever possible for the most potent flavor impact. If fresh aren’t available, dried herbs will work but use about a third less as they are more concentrated.

For an added kick, finish the stir fry with a tablespoon of freshly grated ginger just before serving. It enhances the freshness and adds a subtle warmth to the dish.
