Ingredients
Method
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, crumbled feta cheese, minced red onion, garlic, fresh oregano, fresh parsley, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently with your hands until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each into a patty about 3/4 inch thick. Make a small indentation in the center of each patty with your thumb to prevent bulging during cooking.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat or heat a large skillet over medium-high heat with a drizzle of olive oil.
- Place the patties on the grill or in the skillet. Cook for 5-6 minutes on the first side without moving them.
- Flip the burgers carefully and cook for an additional 5-6 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit and juices run clear.
- Remove burgers from heat and let rest for 2-3 minutes. Serve on whole wheat buns with tzatziki sauce, sliced tomatoes, cucumber, and red onion, or enjoy bunless with a Greek salad.

Notes
Do not overmix the turkey mixture as this can result in tough, dense burgers. Turkey burgers can dry out easily, so avoid pressing down on them while cooking as this releases moisture. For extra flavor, serve with homemade tzatziki sauce made from Greek yogurt, cucumber, garlic, and fresh dill.
