- Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, until the tomatoes have burst and the feta is soft and golden on top.
- While the feta and tomatoes are baking, cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
- Remove the baking dish from the oven and immediately use a fork to mash the feta cheese and tomatoes together, creating a creamy sauce.
- Add the cooked pasta to the baking dish and toss everything together until well combined. Add reserved pasta water a little at a time if needed to reach desired consistency.
- Stir in the fresh chopped basil and adjust seasoning with additional salt and pepper if needed. Serve immediately while hot.
