Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound pizza dough store-bought or homemade
  • 1.5 cups cottage cheese full-fat or low-fat
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh oregano chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves only
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven while preheating.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to your desired thickness, about 12 inches in diameter. Transfer to a pizza pan or parchment paper.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine the cottage cheese, minced garlic, half of the fresh herbs, salt, and pepper. Mix well until evenly combined.
  4. Brush the pizza dough with olive oil. Spread the cottage cheese mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Remove the pizza from the oven and immediately sprinkle with the remaining fresh herbs.

Notes
