Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta bow tie, rigatoni, or penne work best
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Method

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain well and let cool slightly.
  2. Transfer the cooked pasta to a large bowl. Add olive oil, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss until pasta is evenly coated.
  3. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the seasoned pasta and toss again to distribute evenly.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 3-5 minutes.
  5. Place the seasoned pasta in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until pasta is golden brown and crispy.
  6. Remove pasta chips from air fryer and let cool for 2-3 minutes to crisp up further. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce like marinara, ranch, or garlic aioli.

Notes

Make sure pasta is completely drained and slightly cooled before tossing with oil to prevent clumping. Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket - cook in batches if needed for maximum crispiness. Store leftover pasta chips in an airtight container for up to 2 days, though they are best enjoyed fresh.
