Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs lean ground beef 93/7 or 90/10
  • 4 cups romaine lettuce chopped
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced red onion
  • 1/2 cup dill pickles chopped
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Method

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard until smooth. Set aside.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for 8-10 minutes, breaking up the meat with a spatula, until browned and cooked through.
  3. Once beef is fully cooked, drain any excess fat from the skillet and remove from heat.
  4. Divide chopped romaine lettuce evenly among 4 bowls as the base.
  5. Top each bowl with cooked ground beef, cherry tomatoes, shredded cheddar cheese, diced red onion, and chopped pickles.
  6. Drizzle the burger sauce over each bowl. Serve immediately and enjoy.

Notes

For meal prep, store the cooked beef, vegetables, and sauce separately in airtight containers for up to 4 days. Reheat beef before assembling. You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option. Add sesame seeds or everything bagel seasoning on top for extra flavor and crunch.
