Using lean ground turkey mixed with a vibrant blend of garlic and herbs, this recipe ensures juicy and tasty patties. Whether you're grilling outdoors or cooking on a stovetop, these burgers always satisfy!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb lean ground turkey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.25 tsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 slices cheese of choice (optional)
  • 4 pieces whole wheat burger buns

Method
 

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, minced garlic, oregano, basil, salt, pepper, and paprika. Mix until just combined.
  2. Divide mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into patties.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add patties and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side or until fully cooked through.
  4. If using cheese, place a slice on each patty during the last minute of cooking, and cover to melt.
  5. Serve patties on whole wheat buns with your choice of toppings.
